Our story began in 2017, when Game Over Escape Rooms opened the doors to its first venue in the iconic Bairro Alto. We chose Lisbon because it is a vibrant, cosmopolitan city full of life—the perfect setting to introduce an entertainment concept that would transform Portugal's leisure industry.
At the time, we recognised that Lisbon's residents and the millions of visitors to the capital were looking for something beyond traditional activities. They wanted to become the heroes of their own adventure. With that vision, we brought Hollywood-quality immersive environments and 100% electronic and mechanical puzzles to the heart of Lisbon, leaving behind the old concept of 'homemade escape rooms with keys and metal padlocks.' Thanks to the overwhelming success and growing demand, we expanded with a second strategic location in the historic area of Campo de Santa Clara, just a short walk from the National Pantheon and the famous Feira da Ladra flea market, allowing us to welcome even more players and introduce new immersive worlds to the city.
