1 - What is an Escape room?

A: This is a collective mindgame, an intellectual team game in which players will have 60 minutes to escape the room by solving puzzles and working as a team. And why do they want to escape? Well, this depends on the context and plot of each thematic room. They may be victims of a psychopath, explorers trapped in an ancestral temple, secret agents on an enemy base, among others. 2 - How do I make a reservation?

A: The booking is made exclusively online. Once on our website, just click on the desired theme room and BOOK NOW/BOOK NOW to have access to the calendar with all available days and times, updated to the minute (these times are predefined where their changes will not be possible) . After booking and payment, you must wait for confirmation by email.

3 - How do I pay?

A: Following the booking act, the payment page will appear when you press on the "Continue" option. Our payment methods are: Credit or Debit Card

4 - What is the minimum and maximum number of players?

A: The minimum is 2 or 3 players depending on the room chosen, and the maximum is 6 per room at the Bairro Alto store and 7 at the Santa Clara store.

5 - I already made a reservation and would like to add a player, is it possible?

A: Yes. Always respecting the maximum limit of players, to add an extra player you just have to arrive at our store at least 20 minutes before the start of the game and complete the payment of the extra players.

6 - Is there a minimum age to perform an escape room in Game Over Lisbon?

A: There isn't. We welcome escape room fans of all ages. But there is one fundamental rule: it is mandatory that a group of people under 14 be accompanied in the room by an adult, at least 18 years old. This person must enter as a player. The game will not take place without this requirement being fulfilled.

7 - What do I do on game day?

A: Once the reservation and payment are completed and confirmed by us, you will have to register all the participants through the link sent in the confirmation email, or in the last case in store. Remember that you must always arrive at least 15 minutes before the time of the game. When you arrive at the store, just go to the counter and mention the name of the reservation and the game, after a few minutes you will be escorted by one of our Game Masters to your room where you will receive a briefing and then the game starts. You can even arrive early to enjoy our comfortable lounge and have a good freshly ground coffee.

8 - Birthday parties and other celebrations

A: We host birthday parties, bachelor parties and various celebrations. The only consideration is that on Saturdays and Sundays (because they are our most booked days and with a huge rotation of clients in our lounge), it will only be possible to use our space for more elaborate celebrations with cake, food and drinks in the morning: between 10h30 and 13h00. It is also important to mention that the birthday boy or girl, fiancĂ© or fiancĂ©e are entitled to a free game, and therefore in the room where they enter, at the time of booking they only have to select one less player than the ones that will actually participate, always respecting our maximum limit of players per room. 9 - Delays, Cancellations and Rescheduling

A: Since we work with fixed schedules, the delay of one game causes the delay of all subsequent ones. For this reason, delays are deducted from the 60-minute game time. Cancellation is possible, with 100% of the value reimbursed when done up to 2 days before the game date. If done the day before the game, the refund will be 70% of the reservation value. If made on the day before the game, only 50% of the reservation will be refunded. After the game start time, the refund will not be made. Regarding rescheduling, this can always be done until the end of the game. If requested 2 or more days in advance, no fee will be charged. If requested the day before the game, an additional fee of 20% of the total amount paid will be charged. If ordered on the day of the game a fee of 30% of the total amount paid will be charged. We do not make individual refunds for the non-attendance of 1 or more players of the group, except with medical justifications

10 - Can people with physical limitations participate?

A: No doubt about it. We do not want to leave anyone out and we care about all our customers. Our facilities are suitable for wheelchair users.
However, the rooms, depending on certain puzzles, may contain obstacles and we need to be transparent about this. So, we ask you to call us on 926 871 858, because we know that each case is a case and that specific clarifications are necessary for each of them.

11 - We do not speak Portuguese, can we play?

A: Absolutely, our staff is well prepared for a full service in English, be welcome and join us.

12 - Are there any Team Building activities?

13 - I would like to give a person an escape room experience, are there vouchers?

A: Yes, our vouchers have no expiration date and are not tied to any particular room or time slot. At the time of purchase, you only have to mention the number of players. Whoever receives the voucher can always add extra people later on the day of the game, always complying with our maximum limitation of people per room. These can be either virtual, via code, or physical, in which they receive a "Game Over" gift box when purchased in person at our store.
